A journey through the romantic landscape of the border forests.

The challenging route takes us to places that were wrapped in barbed wire years ago by the “Iron Curtain”.

From the station building we will take the cycle path towards Velká Hleďsebe. In the village we pass the Church of St. Anne, continue along the yellow tourist trail to Mala Hleďsebe. We climb about 3 km uphill to the village of Krásné. Connect to the green hiking trail. We alternately ascend and descend along the road. We will reach the crossroads Plánský můstek – in these places there was a technical border security (signal wall). From the crossroads take the forest path slightly left along the Hamerský brook. You will reach the place where a village called Slatina / Lohhäuser stood until 1946. Follow the EV 13 cycle path down to Tachovská Hut. Just before the Hut, turn sharply left onto a trail through pastures. Continue on cycle route number 2069 downhill to the village of Drmoul. We will follow the trail number 2137 back to the building of the railway station Mariánské Lázně.
