Probably the most challenging part of the route awaits us right at the beginning. From Mariánské Lázně it is necessary to climb up the cycle route 2284 to the dančí obora and the Boheminium Park. If you want to save your strength, a cable car can take you and your bike to the Boheminium Park. The bottom station of the cable car is located at the Koliba Hotel. After reaching the highest point of the route, we will keep descending until we reach Michalské Hory. We stick to cycle route 2139. The landscape of the Tepel Highlands opens up to us, where picturesque pastures alternate with deep forests. From the village of Vlkovice we continue on cycle route 2138, from which we turn onto route 2138A. Go down to Martinovo. Then descend through the valley of the Jilmový brook to the crossroads Pod Lazurovým vrchem. We will connect again to route 2138, which will take us through the beautiful valley of Kosího potok to Michalové hory. Continue through Výškov (the second larger hill on the route) to the village of Planá. Pass through the town and continue along the E6 route to Chodová Plana. After the railway station in Chodová Plana we will join the new cycle route number 604 and then we will reach Mariánské Lázně.

ATTENTION! Cycle route 604 is interrupted by road number 230 near Mariánské Lázně. The cyclist must cross the road for a short distance and rejoin the cycle route number 604!
